The Spring 2010 JLYSSL Jr Academy at Alameda Pt 1. (see directions below)

Last year was a great success and we plan to have the same success this year for players, parents and participating coaches. This year we are working with all JLYSSL clubs to participate and provide each a field so we can bring the Jr Academy to all of our JLYSSL clubs.

The schedule for the Spring looks as follows:

May 3 -Open 4:00 - 5:30 pm
May 10 - Open 4:00 - 5:30 pm
May 17 - Open 4:00 - 5:30 pm

Players are to bring water and a soccer ball. We have ordered JLYSSL Jr Academy T-shirts for all players, but will need to give them out on April 12th.

JLYSSL U6-U8 Coaches are also encouraged to sign up (for Free) to learn and participate - Last year we had 25-30 coaches participate over the course of the Spring. Each coach will receive the lesson plan, so they can use that in their own practices. U6-U8 Coaches interested to sign up can do so at http://www.sportability.com/spx/Leagues/League.asp?LgID=24159

ACCYSL and JLYSSL join forces to host 2010 NSCAA /CYSA COURSES

This year both Jack London Youth Soccer Sports League (JLYSSL) and Alameda Contra Costa Youth Soccer League (ACCYSL) are joining forces in coordinating a number of NSCAA and CYSA courses in our local area. The purpose is to provide as many course options as possible for our combined coaches.

Register for Referee Classes Now!
Each OSC team must have a registered referee before they can begin the fall season.
Class 3 teams need two referees!
Register for Referee classes

Age – Minimum age is 14.

Cost – Class is free for Jack London personnel but there is a $40 referee registration fee if you pass the test

Uniform – About $58. You can get a refund from your club after you officiate 5 games in your first season as referee.
