Nikolai Littleton named Head Performance Coach for Men's NPSL Team
OAKLAND, California - Oakland Soccer Club (est. 1974) announces Nikolai Littleton, CSCS, Exos Performance Specialist as the new Head Performance Coach for the Men’s NPSL Team. Oakland Soccer Club is thrilled to have Nikolai join the Team as a dedicated staff member, and looks forward to applying his expertise in athletic performance to maximize our players’ overall endurance, strength, tactical, and skill-specific execution needs this summer and beyond.
Nikolai joins Oakland Soccer Club as a lifelong East Bay resident, born and raised in the Bushrod neighborhood of Oakland, and has extensive experience training team sport athletes across multiple ages and performance levels.
A skilled soccer player himself, Nikolai played for Gonzaga’s Division I Men’s team, graduating in 2014. Following his collegiate career, Nikolai continued to develop himself as an apt Strength and Conditioning Coach, working with players like Will Richmond (San Jose Earthquakes) and other local talent to enhance their overall playing performance and minimize injuries and setbacks.
Nikolai joins Oakland Soccer Club’s training staff in 2022 as the club looks to expand the resources available to the flagship men’s NPSL team. Critical to the health, safety, and performance of our talented athletes, Nikolai brings a community-first mindset and a passion for the game that will undoubtedly benefit our program.
