OSC announces new co-president appointees - October 2, 2020
The Oakland Soccer Club (OSC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Stephen and Iliana Rivera Ramos as new Co-Presidents effective immediately. In addition to developing and implementing a common vision and plan for OSC, they will also be responsible for the daily management and operations of the Club.
Edward and Iliana have common objectives and ambitions for OSC. They work very well together with their strengths complementing each other.
Edward has been coaching soccer in Oakland for 20 years at all ages and levels of competition. He holds a USSF D license and an Advanced National Diploma. Edward currently runs Oakland Leopards U10, U12 squads in addition to a Men's Reserve and Men's First teams that both compete in the prestigious San Francisco Soccer Football League (SFSFL).
Iliana, an Oakland native, is a full time working wife and mother. She is passionate about our soccer community and advocates for those in need. Iliana is a natural leader and has been involved with Oakland Select teams for many years assisting them manage and navigate confusing league environments.
They have already established an official partnership between OSC and local professional club Oakland Roots. Edward and Iliana look forward to getting input from the OSC community.
