Two Inaugural Jersey Sponsors Announced - November 2, 2021
Oakland SC is proud to announce groundbreaking multi year and first ever jersey sponsorships with Square Pie Guys and Jamba Juice. The partnerships with Square Pie Guys as main jersey Sponsor and Jamba Juice as a sleeve sponsor have a duration of two years. The brands debut on the Oakland SC jerseys in the 2021-22 season.
“We strive to keep costs affordable for our players so that soccer is accessible to more Oakland youth. We needed to find alternative sources of funding and are very excited to partner with two companies who not only care about Oakland but are stepping up to help us in a very concrete way,” said Co President Edward Stephen.

Square Pie Guys is located in the heart of Old Oakland offering Detroit style pizzas. Baked in pans originally used to carry automotive parts (hence the “Detroit” connection.) Their pizza has a crunchy bottom, fluffy middle and crispy cheesy edge. Founded by Marc Schechter and Danny Stoller, Square Pie Guys has partnered with many community based organizations that help migrants, Latina entrepreneurs, young people of color and social justice causes.

Jamba Juice East Bay (DBA Valley Juice Co.) is a local business that owns Jamba Juice franchises in the Bay Area. Jamba Juice is committed to offering seasonal and refreshing smoothies, bowls or juices to help the Oakland community live healthy. Not just one or two, but a total of 20 Jamba Juice franchises are owned and operated by the Redmons' who are based in Oakland.
